Heart & Heritage Homeschool: Where Learning Meets Life

At Heart & Heritage Academy, we offer families the best of both worlds—a seamless blend of private school structure and homeschool freedom through our hybrid learning model.

Parents remain the primary educators, while we provide a safe, inspiring, and hands-on environment where children can learn, grow, explore, and experience life in a meaningful way.

A Homeschool Experience Like No Other

Nestled on beautiful acreage, our academy is more than just a learning center—it’s a living, breathing classroom. We are building a mini-farm/homestead, giving students the opportunity to dig their hands into the soil, care for animals, and cultivate real-world skills that have stood the test of time.

Students don’t just learn from books—they grow, create, and experience life through:

🌱 Gardening – From seed to harvest, students gain a deep appreciation for where food comes from.

🐔 Raising Chickens – Hands-on care teaches responsibility and sustainability.

🥫 Canning & Preserving – Time-honored methods of food preservation.

🍞 Cooking & Baking – Learning the art of home cooking, nutrition, and self-sufficiency.

🛠 And More! – We’re always adding opportunities for hands-on, life-enriching experiences.

Flexible & Family-Centered Education

Students attend our Learning Center three days per week from August to May, giving families the freedom to homeschool with support.

At Heart & Heritage Academy, we’re not just teaching academics—we’re equipping children for life with skills, knowledge, and faith-centered values that will last a lifetime.

Come be a part of a community where education is more than a classroom—it’s a way of life!

    KARI KLENKE

    OWNER

Mrs. Klenke works directly with parents to place and determine curriculum, course of study, goals, and expectations. We primarily follow a classical approach for the foundation in the primary years of education with a strong emphasis on Charlotte Mason learning using living literature, nature study, hands-on learning, and narrations.
